Activities
Each week students are instructed on a variety of games focusing on fitness and skill development. Students have 45 minutes of physical education during the period, so I try to maximize the amount of activity time each period.
The daily agenda consists of entry and attendance, daily warm-up, main activity and cool-down/summary.

Warm-up
Crossfit one of the warm-up I am using this year. It consists of students jogging around the gym to music for approximately 60-90 second intervals. Fitness is incorporated into every activity. I want students to understand how their body works and why things happen when you begin to exercise. The primary essential question in each lesson is, "How does your body respond to exercise?". The changes we identify in class are: heart rate increase, breathing rate increase, start to sweat, and muslce fatigue. Students frequently check to see if these four changes are happening throughout the period on their own body and give a thumbs up if they notice all four.
